We just got back from a lovely week at the lake. We left last Tuesday and returned this Tuesday. We brought Hector's cousin Adrian who is 13 with us. He came last year for the 4th of July also. We had a lot of fun relaxing, swimming, boating, skiing, riding the waverunners, eating great meals, and just hanging out with family. On the way to the lake, we had to stop by our favorite restaurant in Austin for lunch - Shady Grove. It was delicious as always. Hector and I both had our regulars. Chicken Fried Steak and a Jalapeno Twice Baked Potato for me and Tortilla Fried Catfish with Queso for Hec and we all shared an appetizer of Green Chili Cheese Fries. YUM!
We LOVE Austin and it was fun to be there. Santiago enjoyed our lunch outside too. We made sure to dress him in Longhorn attire for our visit in Austin.
