Today was a really nice day. I started the day with a halfday workshop that I really enjoyed - Phonics Confusion Solution and then came home and put Santiago down for a nap. While I was at my workshop, Hector and Santi went to the park and then cooled off by eating a popsicle at the grandparents house. After Santiago was rudely awakened by Roxie barking at our lawn guys, our family of three went to eat pizza at Double Dave's. The buffet was good and Santiago actually enjoyed eating pizza for the first time. He has tried it before but never really cared for it. After lunch, we headed to the library for Lapsit. Santiago always has a good time at the library. Today after singing and story time, he played in the swimming pool and helped Miss Shawn water the garden. He loves Miss Shawn!
Then we had Hector's family over for hamburgers for dinner tonight. Overall - just a really nice day!
