Saturday Fun

Today we went to my friend Lisa's daughter, Alyssa's 3rd birthday party. We had a great time and Santiago got to go on a train ride, play on a swingset, jump in a moonwalk, and be around a bunch of kids. He was so worn out after the party that he slept almost three hours when we got home. (Mommy and Daddy were tired too so we took a nap as well!) After we woke up and had a snack, we went outside to enjoy the beautiful day a little more in the backyard. We played with Jager and Roxie, blew bubbles and sat on Santiago's cool picnic table that his nice Aunt Bianca and Uncle Matt gave him for his birthday. I know we are going to get a lot of good use out of this table in the years to come.

Santi and his Daddy walked all over the backyard together and threw the ball for Jager to fetch. Santiago loves to throw the ball. I just love this picture of them together!

The last couple days Santiago has been drooling a lot and sticking his little fingers all the way in the back of his mouth. He also has been running a little fever but I don't think he is sick. I think he may have some molars trying to break through in the back. He already has 8 teeth in the front - 4 up and 4 down. But even with a fever, his appetite has not slowed down a bit and that's why I don't think he is sick. He is eating and eating and growing so big! ha Here he is at dinner eating fish sticks, avocado and sweet potato fries. My baby isn't such a baby anymore! He eats regular food and drinks regular milk now. No more nursing or baby food. A couple people at the birthday party thought he was 2 and were shocked when I told them that he just turned 1!
