Tonight we took Santiago to meet his very first teachers. We had our first "meet the teacher" night. We decided to enroll Santiago in Mother's Day Out at our church and he will be going on Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30-2:30. We are excited that Santiago will be able to meet and play with other toddlers and make new friends. We know that this will be a very good thing for him and we are looking forward to seeing how he grows and develops with this new experience. His teachers are very nice and I got a very good first impression of them. I can't wait to see the things Santi will be bringing home from "school"
We feel very blessed to have Hector's parents taking care of Santiago while we work. More than they will ever know! They have watched him for us and loved and cared for him since he was 6 months old and they will be taking and picking up Santi from MDO as well. I know that Santi's grandparents are going to have a hard time dropping him off at first because they love their days with him, but I am hoping that that will get easier for them with time!
