Today we went to a Moms of Tots playdate at Emily's neighborhood pool. Santiago was super excited to be invited to go swimming in a real pool and I was excited to see Gabriel in the water for the first time.
Gabriel is a true water baby! He had no fear in the kiddie pool and when we went in the big pool he was really excited! He loved floating on his back while i held him and wanted badly out of my arms. Santiago loved every minute of pool time also!
He squirted all of us! There were 4 moms and 6 kids. We brought Santiago's life jacket and he had fun climbing in and out of the big pool while we were in the shallow end. We only got to swim for maybe 30 minutes before the lifeguards blew their whistles because of thunder. Santiago said they were mean because he wanted to swim. He didn't want to get out! Haha
By the time we loaded in the car it began to pour and the drive home was a little scary. It looked a bit like the hurricane when we finally got home. The wind was blowing strong and it was really dark outside with loud thunder and lightening! We watched the storm from inside and when it ended this is what we found in the backyard!
