Catch Up Time

We spent Thanksgiving week in Midland and had a really good time. I am so thankful to have had the entire week off work this year. As a teacher I have usually had to work Monday and Tuesday and then have the rest of the week off. The two extra days made a big difference. My cousin Reagan, her husband Jeff and their adorable daughter came from Frisco for Thanksgiving and little Reichly, Blake and Santiago had a fun time playing together. Here is Reichly and Santi. My Uncle Scott and his beautiful daughter Olivia also came to town from Austin and my dad saddled up the horses for them to ride on Saturday. Here is my cousin Olivia holding Santiago. I think she really enjoyed playing with the babies. Love you Livi!Friday was my sweet mom's birthday so it was another blessing to be home to spend her birthday with her. Blake and my mom hung out at the arena and watched the horse riding while Blake waited her turn.

You can't really tell in this next picture but Pappaw and Santiago are actually riding Gunsmoke (the horse) here. Santiago and Blake both loved to ride the horses. They giggled and smiled and made funny noises the whole time. After Santiago had his turn on the horse, my mom went to go get him from my dad and you can see how excited he was from the next picture. He really loved the horses!
